Critics say this city has no style. We’re here to prove them wrong. Welcome to HubThreads, where we chat with the most stylish people we find out and about in Boston. Think you or someone you know has the best street style? Let us know.

BAHAREH & FARZANEH

Who is the older twin?

Bahareh: I am, by five minutes.

Do you two always dress alike?

Bahareh: Yes.

Have you always?

Bahareh: Yes.

Who decides what the outfit will be?

Bahareh: We both have same taste, so we usually pick the same thing.

Really? It just sort of happens naturally?! Where are you from originally?

Bahareh:  Iran.

Did you come here for school?

Bahareh: Yes.

Where did you go?

Farzaneh: Northeastern.

You studied art there?

Farzaneh: Yes it was a joint program with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Have you always painted together?

Bahareh: Its been like that for 7 years. We started separately, but our work together was successful, so then we decided to paint together.

Were you both painters?

Bahareh: Yes.

When you work on a piece, does one person paint and one person does the video component, or do you really work together?

Farzaneh: No, we work on each piece together, even with the video as well.

Do you have any style icons?

Bahareh: We don’t usually wear patterns. We like simple; simple white, simple blue.
