HubThreads: Celebrating Boston Street Style
Meet Jonathan. We caught up with him at the opening reception of "Sanctuary" by the Safarani sisters at Amalgam on Newbury St.
Critics say this city has no style. We’re here to prove them wrong. Welcome to HubThreads, where we chat with the most stylish people we find out and about in Boston. Think you or someone you know has the best street style? Let us know.

What do you do? I work for the AIDS Action Committee, I’m in development.
That’s so great! We’re actually putting on an art auction called ARTcetera, and Olivia, who put on this event, is consulting for us.
When is your auction? October 27th.
Tell me more about it. We curate about 200 pieces of art from all over across the country, we partner with a bunch of galleries.
Are you from Boston? I grew up in NH.
Where in NH? Southern NH, in a town called Hampstead.
I grew up in Amherst, NH! Did you? Well look at that!
Do you have any style icons? That’s a really hard question. I don’t know if I have any style icons, but I typically wear things that are flowy and too tight. I like that mix together. And I love a coiffed look.
Yeah your hair is so great, where do you get it done? Or do you do it yourself? I go to Liquid Hair Studios in the South End. My hair dresser is Allison and she’s great.
