About

Dr. Caren Droesch practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and treats the full spectrum of skin disease in patients of all ages, including pediatrics. As a board certified dermatologist, she is expertly trained in all areas of dermatology, with a special interest in psoriasis and systemic psoriatic therapies including biologics. She has spoken both nationally and internationally at medical conferences and has numerous publications in the dermatology literature on a wide variety of topics and skin conditions.

She is also a talented skin surgeon who performs outpatient surgery in our surgical suite at DermWellesley weekly, removing skin cancers, benign growths, and performing certain minor cosmetic procedures. She operates paying particular attention to cosmetic outcome, manipulating tissue to minimize scarring whenever possible.

In addition, she was trained in New York City by some of the field’s top cosmetic dermatologists in all facets of aesthetic dermatology including neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport), fillers, and lasers. She has a keen eye and pays particular attention to using products and techniques to maximize global facial rejuvenation while maintaining a very natural appearance.

Awards or Certifications

Dr. Droesch completed her Dermatology Residency at Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian Dermatology Training Program in New York City. She received her M.D. with Research Honors from Tufts University School of Medicine where she was named a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Droesch graduated Summa Cum Laude with a dual degree in Spanish and Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University and is very proficient in Spanish. She was inducted as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society.
