A New Fitness Apparel Line Launches in Boston
There’s a new Boston-based fitness and fashion online brand for women called Crane & Lion, which aims to be “performance wear combined with fashion-forward pieces.” The company wants to make it easy to “transition from the gym, to meetings, to social engagements, and back.” That said, anyone who has ever sweated through a Zumba session knows that it doesn’t matter what you’re wearing, you’ll still look like a sweaty mess after class (if you did it right, at least).
The pieces, reps say, are simple to mix, match, and layer. “Being active means something different for every woman we spoke with while creating this fashion line,” said John Udelson, CEO and founder, in a statement. “My team and I had a vision to develop a clothing line that made our customer feel truly comfortable throughout her whole day. We created Crane & Lion to motivate women to be active and healthy and look their best, but still feel comfortable with who they are and how they live their lives.”
Crane & Lion is offering 20 percent off to all fitness instructors who submit a current teaching certificate. Prices are comparable to other high-end fitness wear, with sports bras starting at $55 and leggings starting at $90.
