The U.S. Surgeon General Got Married This Past Weekend
Vivek Murthy and Alice Chen got married in California this past weekend, in a gorgeous multi-cultural ceremony attended by a who’s who of the Boston and national medical communities.
Murthy, a 37-year-old well-known local yogi, physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a teacher at Harvard Medical School, also happens to be the U.S. Surgeon General. Chen, also an MD, serves as executive director for Doctors for America, an organization that works with physicians and medical students to improve the health of the nation and to ensure that everyone has access to affordable, high-quality health care.
Congratulations to the happy couple. Below, some images from the day.
