Beth Israel Deaconess Made a ‘Shake It Off’ Parody About Flu Prevention

You know what they say: If you want to get a message across, just turn it into a Taylor Swift parody.

That’s what the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Flu Fighters did, turning the singer’s hit “Shake It Off” into a—very catchy—flu prevention PSA. The video, uploaded to YouTube last week, features BIDMC employees dancing around the hospital, espousing the benefits of hand washing (“I’m a soap dispenser fiend”), flu shots (“make sure to vaccinate-ate-ate-ate-ate”), and not touching your “face-ace-ace-ace-ace,” all set to T. Swift’s infamous sick beat.
