It was only a matter of time before a yoga studio set up shop at Ink Block, and that day is growing closer. The South End complex announced Monday that CorePower Yoga will open a location there, likely in late September.

The chain—one of the largest in the country, with more than 150 studios nationwide—is known for its signature athletic, challenging style of yoga, as well as cardio, sculpting, hot yoga, and restorative classes. The 4,200-square-foot Ink Block space will be located in the Sepia luxury condo complex, and, like CorePower’s other studios, will use sustainable building practices and energy-efficient heating methods. It joins the company’s branches in Allston, Cambridge, Medford, and Newton.

CorePower adds to Ink Block’s fast-growing status as a wellness lover’s haven, thanks to the massive Whole Foods, a soon-to-open Turnstyle Cycle location, and a Sweetgreen slated to open in fall of this year.
