UPDATED, June 8, 2016:

According to a company spokesperson, Mother Juice’s latest location will open at 291 Newbury Street in early July. In addition to classic offerings, the menu will include five kinds of avocado toast (and a make-your-own toast option), smoothie bowls, kombucha on tap, and new juices, chia seed puddings, and overnight oats. The 1,000-square-foot space will boast indoor and patio seating.

Original story:

In recent years, Newbury Street has been something of a dry island in a sea of Boston juice bars. Thanks to Mother Juice, however, shoppers will soon be able to refuel with kelp smoothies, Unicorn Blood juice, and avocado toast.

The juicery announced Wednesday, via Instagram, that construction is underway on a Newbury Street shop, projected to open in June. The new location, which will be near Copley Square, joins its Kendall Square and Boston Public Market outposts.

The Newbury Street shop will have the largest kitchen among the three locations, allowing it to offer Mother Juice’s full menu of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, breakfast bowls, salads, and snacks. Look out for the overnight oats, which have developed a bit of a cult-like following—for good reason.
