Here’s How You Can Enter the B.A.A. 10K for Free

Just stalk the organization's Twitter today, tomorrow, and Thursday.

If watching the Boston Marathon inspired you to join the pack next year, running the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) 10K is a great way to start building your endurance. And thanks to a promotion sponsored by the B.A.A., you’ve got 15 chances to enter the June 26 race for free.

The race organizer is giving out five bibs each today, tomorrow, and (weather permitting) Thursday. All you have to do to get one is stalk the organization’s Twitter.

Here’s how it works: Sometime today, the B.A.A. will tweet about the free bib contest, and the first five people who show that tweet at Adidas RunBase on Boylston Street will win free race entry and a $25 Adidas gift card. On Wednesday, the process will repeat at B.Good on Longwood Avenue, with those winners receiving bibs and a free meal. On Thursday, if the rain holds off, Twitter fans will have to find the B.A.A. somewhere along the Charles River.

If you’re not keen on refreshing your browser every few minutes, you could also pony up and pay the $65 registration fee. It’s your call.

Event will be held 6/26 at 8 a.m., starting and finishing at the Boston Common. Find more information and register at baa.org.
