Recipe: Chocolate Raspberry Popsicles
Not to jinx anything, but it looks like warm weather is here to stay—and there’s nothing better than a cold treat on a hot day. This year, put away the rich ice cream and artificially sweetened popsicles, and turn to this healthy popsicle recipe instead.
Raspberries and chocolate are a classic flavor combination for a reason, and Greek yogurt makes these pops a fairly filling snack. If you prefer your popsicles on the sweet side, go ahead and add 1/4 cup of maple syrup when making the recipe. If you’re okay with minimal sweetness, the raspberries and dark chocolate should be enough. And of course, you’re welcome to add any other fruits (or veggies!) you choose.
Ingredients
Makes 6 popsicles
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips
1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
Directions
Blend all of the ingredients until well combined. Pour into popsicle molds and place in the freezer to set for at least two hours.
Popsicles should last up to two weeks in the freezer.
