Aerie Is Bringing Its Body Positivity Campaign to Boston
Aerie is bringing its commitment to body positivity and self acceptance on the road. Next stop? Boston.
The brand—which made headlines in 2014 for its decision to stop retouching its models—is using its Aerie Real Tour to spread good vibes in select cities across the country. On Saturday, September 17, the party stops at the Lawn on D for a day of free yoga and more.
The schedule includes:
Slow Flow Yoga, 9:30 a.m.: Wake up slow with a gentle yoga class taught by Izzy VanHall.
Myth Busters, 10:30 a.m.: Separate breast cancer fact from fiction and learn more about the disease with nonprofit Bright Pink.
Power Vinyasa Yoga, 11 a.m.: Trying to break a sweat? Join this athletic class taught by American Eagle’s Manager of Digital Creative, Catherine Gignac.
Hip Hop Yoga, 12:30 p.m.: Meghan Rozanski Brundage will bring her popular hip hop yoga class on the road. Get ready to dance while you flow.
Dance Party, 2 p.m.: Let loose with this part fitness class, part old fashioned dance party led by instructor Erica Bornstein.
If you need a break from all those chaturangas, there will also be beauty stations, giveaways, shopping, and a smoothie truck on site. You can RSVP now through Facebook.
Free, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 9/17. Lawn on D, 420 D St., Boston. For more information, visit ae.com.
