A Juice Crawl Is Happening in the Back Bay This Weekend

For whatever reason, Bostonians love to combine health and hedonism. There are fitness classes in nightclubs. There are detox-to-retox workouts in breweries, distilleries, vineyards, and taprooms. And now, the boozy bar crawl is getting a healthy makeover.
On Saturday, October 22, produce junkies will converge for a juice crawl around the Back Bay. Just like the bar crawls of your college days, this event will lead a group of beverage enthusiasts from one watering hole to the next—only with more kale, and less beer.
Tickets are $10, and can be purchased here. The schedule goes like this:
- 2 p.m.: Meet at Squeeze Juice Bar to down your first drink. May we suggest starting with something light?
- 3 p.m.: Juice number two will be at Revolution Juice. At some point during the hour you’re at Revolution, there will be a “meditation flashmob.” You’ll have to attend to find out what, exactly, that means.
- 4 p.m.: Third and final juice at the new Mother Juice shop on Newbury Street.
- 5:30 p.m.: Head to Karma Yoga Studio for “Namaste Saturdays,” a group meditation and reiki session.
Hope you’re thirsty.
$10, 10/22, 2 p.m. Meet at Squeeze Juice Bar, 131 Dartmouth St., Boston, eventbrite.com.
