If you’ve walked down Boylston Street lately, you may have noticed that BFX Studio is no longer. But the part-gym, part-boutique studio concept hasn’t shuttered—instead, it’s been rebranded under the Boston Sports Clubs (BSC) name.

Town Sports International, the parent company of both BFX and BSC, is integrating the brands roughly 18 months after BFX first opened. While the gym will keep some of its old branding—a sign remains in the lobby, and classes still have names like “BFX Burn”—the company is now referring to it as BSC Studio.

So, what’s different? Basically, BFX members gain access to BSC and vice versa. Anybody who had a BFX plan may now visit any BSC in the city, and BSC members may take studio classes—including Booty by Brabants, cycling and strength training hybrid Fusion, and boxing and kettlebell mashup Box and Bell—at a discounted rate.

Comprehensive memberships, which allow access to any BSC location and unlimited studio classes, cost $199 per month. Five classes at BSC Studio will run you $150. Drop-ins cost $20 for BSC members, or $32 for non-members.
