Local juice bar Pressed just got a massive new partner: Whole Foods.

Pressed will soon open several independent juice bars in Whole Foods stores around the region, beginning with the brand’s soon-to-open Sudbury store. No other locations have been announced yet.

The partnership will offer huge expansion potential for Pressed, which currently operates only two locations—one in Beacon Hill, and one in the South End. “To be partnered with Whole Foods Market, such a well-respected and conscientious brand, seemed like an obvious direction for us,” owner Ashley Gleeson says in a statement.

Like its freestanding locations, Pressed’s Whole Foods shops will serve cold-pressed juices, “superfood shakes” and shots, and plant-based foods, such as avocado toast, superfood sushi, popsicles, and salads.

Pressed will open for business in Sudbury on July 8, the day of the new Whole Foods’ grand opening ceremony.

Coming soon to Whole Foods Market, 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, pressedboston.com.
