Aly Raisman Is Writing a Book

Aly Raisman is adding another title to her lengthy résumé: author.

In addition to calling out body shamers, leading workouts, modeling for Sports Illustrated, fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and—oh, yeah—being a heavily decorated Olympic gymnast, the 23-year-old Needham native announced via Instagram Monday that she’s writing a book. You know, with all of her abundant free time.

We don’t know much about the book yet, except that it will be titled Fierce: How Competing for Myself Changed Everything and it’s slated for a November 14 release. But based on the near-immediate fan response—the post already has 45,200 likes, and counting—we’re guessing it’s going to be a hit.
