Acolytes of the ever-popular Barry’s are about to get a new destination to visit: The fitness studio, known for its red-tinted rooms, is opening its third location in Back Bay this May.

The new location, at 10 Huntington Ave., will be the largest of the studios in Boston at 5,000 square feet, and will serve as the brand’s flagship studio. The space will be able to accommodate over 50 participants, which is more than their Downtown Crossing and Chestnut Hill locations serve. “We’re excited to open our flagship location in such an iconic neighborhood,” Brian Weller, co-owner of Barry’s Boston said in a press release. “We’re just a short walk away from historic landmarks, including the Marathon finish line.”

The workout, which consists of 25-30 minutes of interval-based cardiovascular exercise on treadmills combined with 25-30 minutes of strength training using free weights and resistance bands, aims to be an effective way to burn off calories and relieve stress.

Barry’s Back Bay will offer 50 and 60 minute classes seven days a week, with classes starting at $20 for first timers and $30 for drop ins. In its first 30 days of operation, the studio will offer three class packages for $60 and six class packages for $120 to be used at Back Bay only. Co-owners Dustin Martin and Brian Weller hinted at a third location coming to Boston back in August of 2016, so we’re excited to see the largest Barry’s come to fruition.
