B/Spoke Is Debuting Their Signature Bootcamp Class in Boston
With a rooftop workout and summer solstice afterparty.
Thursday marks the longest day of the year and the official beginning of summer (as if Monday’s temps weren’t enough to convince us of that) and B/SPOKE studios is celebrating. You can enjoy the extra sunlight from the rooftop of 1 Federal St. at the Boston debut of their bootcamp class, Train.
The lifestyle brand, which has been offering intense cycling classes for some time, has been offering Train at their Wellesley location in a space called “The Training Lab.” Train focuses on movements matched with music that build muscle, strengthen the core, and increase mobility. The fitness venture includes collaboration with other experts in the area, including Ali Roshankish of Roshankish Krav Maga and Martial Arts Center, Rachel Cossar, professional ballet dancer and founder of Choreography for Business, and Moise Theosmy, a personal trainer.
The workout is 50 minutes long and will be offered at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on June 21. Expect a challenging workout with interval and resistance training, body weight exercises, and fast bursts of movement.
Treat yourself when the work is done, and stick around for sunset views and a barbecue dinner catered by Redbones, frozé cocktails, and live music from DJ Tao. If you’re not planning on partaking in International Yoga Day, or heading out for an early weekend vacay, you’ve got options.
$45 (includes class, dinner, and one drink), 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. followed by after-party, 1 Federal Street, Boston, bspokestudios.com.
