Life Time Athletic Is Adding a Framingham Location

For MetroWest residents, going to the gym is about to get swankier. This summer, Life Time Athletic will open its second Massachusetts location, in Framingham.

This is not your neighborhood YMCA. In addition to the usual exercise equipment and group fitness classes, the luxury chain’s three-story, 123,000-square-foot, Framingham space will house an indoor and outdoor pool, four squash courts, two basketball courts, a café, and a full-service spa. It will also offer a Kids Academy with camps, karate, swimming, and Spanish classes for children up to 11 years old.

Membership doesn’t come cheap—at Life Time’s Westwood location, which opened in July 2015, prices for singles, couples, and families range from $144 to $344 per month—but, hey, at least you can reward yourself with a massage, manicure, or haircut after your workout.

While there aren’t photos of the new location yet, the complex will look similar to the Westwood location shown below.
