Tom Brady Hints at Fifth Super Bowl Ring in New Commercial

Tom Brady made full use of his infamous four-game suspension, jetting off to Italy to lounge around in the buff and generally living his best life. Apparently, he also stole some time to film a commercial for Quincy’s Shields Healthcare.

The ad, directed by Bobby Farrelly and filmed in South Boston, shows Brady at Shields MRI, waiting for an appointment. “Tom Brady trusts Shields MRI,” the voiceover says. “You can, too.”

Shields actually has been the Patriots’ official MRI provider for the past 15 years, and former Patriot Tedy Bruschi served as a Shields spokesman in the past. The healthcare company is also the official MRI provider of the Bruins, Celtics, and Revolution.

The quarterback’s commercial will be coming to a television near you on Thursday. He speaks a whopping eight words during the 30-second ad, but his sparse lines include this suave exchange:

BRADY: Removes all four Super Bowl rings and places them in a locker.

NURSE: “Is that all?”

BRADY: “For now.”
