Stephanie is a Boston real estate attorney who begins each workday at 4 a.m. She does so to stay ahead of deadlines and to have dinner with her family every night. Clients can sleep well at night knowing their interests are being protected, deadlines are being met and their work is being completed meticulously. Clients have called Attorney Petty the “Rock Star of Lawyers” and the “Velvet Hammer”.

She is originally from Martha’s Vineyard and currently lives in Lynnfield, MA with Steven, their five boys and their Cane Corso Sonny. She is her sons’ biggest fan and can often be found with them on the football field and soccer field. When her own children are grown Stephanie will focus her attention and resources on providing basic necessities and post high school opportunities for teenagers in the foster care system. She plans to slow down a bit when she retires. Stephanie will never retire.

Since beginning her career as an attorney in 2003 she has closed thousands of real estate transactions and has at this point almost “seen it all”. This expertise often saves clients a tremendous amount of time, stress and money.

Degrees, Certifications, Awards:

Attorney Petty received her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Northeastern University in 2000 and was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for Economics. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 2003. Attorney Petty is a Member of the Massachusetts Bar and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association. Stephanie is presently an elected Housing Commissioner in Lynnfield, MA serving a five-year term. She is a long-time boys' soccer coach, a member of Lynnfield Rotary, and participates in a number of networking groups.
