On October 18, 2018, hundreds of guests entered the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center to witness the 20th annual IIDA New England Fashion Show. Two dozen of the region’s best architecture and interior design firms and design schools teamed up with industry manufacturers to battle it out on the runway in front of a full capacity crowd at the BCEC ballroom with several thousand more watching live online. Interpreting the show’s theme, REFLECTION, designers from each team donned fashions that they created exclusively from the tools of their trade–interior finishes, furnishings, light fixtures, and more–and competed for cheers, awards, and bragging rights. The event left the crowd speechless and in awe of all the incredibly creative  designs displayed.
