Two wannabe Marylou’s employees contacted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently spoke to the Herald. “At first I didn’t want to get involved, but after I thought about it, (the EEOC agent) had a point. Because every Marylou’s I’ve ever been in, it’s young, white girls,” said Melo Spencer, of Halifax, who applied but wasn’t hired back in 2011.  [Herald]
