Welcome to Middleborough, Where Swearing in Public is Now a $20 Fine

Last night, Middleborough residents voted 183-50 in favor of imposing a fine on all the f-words, s-words, d-words, and p-words that people are tired of hearing shouted through the streets. Some resident even found the measure necessary. “They’ll sit on the bench and yell back and forth to each other with the foulest language.
