Circle The City
Boston’s Circle The City has been drawing people out of their homes this summer to promote healthy, active living. This special event is a 2012 Urban Signature Project of the America’s Great Outdoors Initiative and part of the city’s growing efforts to get residents and parks in tiptop shape. The final Circle the City is being held on Sunday along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Featuring a car-free corridor right downtown, it’s the perfect opportunity to skate, bike, run, dance, and play.

Frank Santos, “The R-Rated Hypnotist”
Comedian Frank Santos has been packing racy punches for nearly 15 years. A Rhode Island native and Las Vegas regular, Santos makes his way through the Bay State on Saturday at Boston’s historic Wilbur Theater. This one-night stint is a great time to laugh and let loose—just hope you don’t end up on stage. Santos is known for his knack with audience participation, making minds and bodies bend to do the strangest R-rated tricks in the spotlight.

One World Day at the Franklin Park Zoo
On Saturday, Franklin Park Zoo is host to One World Day, a celebratory festival for the world’s most varied animal species: our own. The event features dances, music, and cultural demonstrations from all walks of life: Japanese Taiko drumming, Puerto Rican Plena dance and song, Irish step dancing, Greek folk dancing, and more. Head out for a fun, interactive way to learn about your neighbors across the street and across the globe.

The Great Boston Cupcake Crawl
Forget the pubs—this is a Boston crawl made for the family. Every weekend, the sweet-toothed experts at Boston Chocolate Tours are bringing their knowledge to Boston’s cupcake craze. The tour begins at 11 a.m. outside of Cakeology, winner of the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. For the following 2 1/2 hours, patrons are treated to Boston’s most historic sights while stopping by its must-visit cupcakeries. Samples are bountiful, as are tricks and tips in baking, proving time and again that cupcake crawling is the sweetest way to hit the town.
