Dorchester Residents: "We’re Afraid"
After two separate shootings occurred in Dorchester this past weekend, killing a total of four people, residents are shaken by the deaths, and officials are frustrated with the spike in violence. “I think the community has to really look into itself in terms of acts of violence, and be willing to challenge it,” City Councilor Charles Yancey said. “I felt a sense of helplessness.” Police are seeking help from the public to track down the perpetrator.
