A Twitter History: David Portnoy vs. Chrissy Teigen
For your daily dose of breaking news, there’s this: Barstool Sports’ David Portnoy (aka El Presidente to his fanboys) got smacked on Twitter Tuesday night during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show by former VS model Chrissy Teigen, and it was pretty great.
.@stoolpresidente in a scale of 1-10, how scared are you to @ me, tough guy?

While everyone was all ‘#BOOMROASTED‘ and ‘@’s are useless when you can’t spell,’ Portnoy uncharacteristically went MIA for a while. Reports from Barstool said that he may or may not have been fatally injured due to this smackdown. But the plot thickens! What felt like three and a half hours later, Portnoy emerged with a response—just in time to take another smack by Teigen.
@stoolpresidente and now we all know exactly how long it takes to clean jizz off a keyboard.

This antic combined with Jon Lester signing with the Cubs despite Portnoy’s predictions, the general responses from other Barstool lads were as such:
Live look at @stoolpresidente firing up the Excuse Train. #ChooChoo pic.twitter.com/n15TwfB5pG

Teigen then tweeted the next night, December 10 at 10:30 p.m.:
please stop changing my wikipedia. i did not murder @stoolpresidente
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) December 11, 2014
But Portnoy and Teigen’s Twitter history goes back some time. Take this interaction from the context of the celebrity iCould hack scandal in August:
Verlander shot a ton of cum on Upton’s back. There I said it. I know everybody was thinking it
— David Portnoy (@stoolpresidente) September 1, 2014
.@TDeSalvo @stoolpresidente you fucking pig.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) September 1, 2014
From a random day in 2014:
John Legend and Christy Teigan think they’re so much better than everybody else
— David Portnoy (@stoolpresidente) May 19, 2014
And from a random day in 2013:
Do you read our asses? @chrissyteigen: people aren’t updating their blogs quickly enough for me lately in other words i need a life
— David Portnoy (@stoolpresidente) November 18, 2013
Well, you know what they say. You win some, you lose some, but you live to fight another day. Isn’t that right, tough guy?
