World Class Citizen Vince Wilfork Saves Lady from Flipped Over Jeep
Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork proved he’s a champion on and off the field following the AFC title game Monday night. Wilfork helped to assist a woman out of a vehicle that rolled over on Route 1 in Foxboro, according to reports from the Mass State Police. And he allegedly used just one hand to do it, surprising everyone and no one all at once.
According to the report from state police, the operator of the vehicle was a 38-year-old woman from Hanson, Mass., named Mary Ellen Brooks. State Trooper Kenneth Proulx said that Wilfork reached into the Jeep to help get her out of the car while Proulx held the door open. Wilfork remained on the scene until troopers confirmed they could take over the situation.
Brooks was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol. Vince Wilfork, however, remains compassionate soul and world-class citizen.
