Cool Person Julian Edelman Meets With Other Cool Person Jay Z

Here’s some unsurprising news: Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman allegedly met with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports in NYC on Thursday afternoon. Apparently his kick-ass Super Bowl performance is getting good looks.
Edelman, though, is apparently not seeking to switch agencies as he’s “super happy” with his current rep, but he’s open to other opportunities. He might be able to team up with Roc Nation to do some marketing and branding—things we all know he’s perfectly capable. His Grammys suit and tie alone made him the Pats’ finest dandy on television. Which we can confirm Jay will appreciate.
Roc Nation already has a number of major athletes signed to their team including Rusney Castillo of the Red Sox, James Young of the Celtics, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Geno Smith of the New York Jets.
It was only a matter of time before Edelman’s face and talent got on Jay’s radar. In Jay’s own words, he’s at the top of the totem pole. It’s the dream team meets the supreme team. You know the rest.
