Derek Jeter Is Publishing a Rob Gronkowski Autobiography
Overcoming the age-old New York-Boston rivalry, Jeter Publishing—also known as Derek Jeter’s publishing house under Simon and Shuster—announced it’ll publish an autobiography penned by the Patriots’ favorite party animal Rob Gronkowski, according to For the Win.
Publishers dubbed the book It’s Good to Be the Gronk, and promise it will give readers a glimpse into Gronk’s personal life, detailing his nearly career-ending injury, and his Superbowl comeback that led him to national fame. While this is no Gronking to Remember, the autobiography promises an “intimate” look at Gronk’s life. (As if that’s something we’re already missing out on by way of his oh-so-honest TV appearances and raw, detailed tweets?)
Gronk said in a press release provided to For the Win: “If you want to be a chiseled six foot six inch All-Pro football player who makes big money to score touchdowns and win Super Bowls, and if you like to have just as much fun with your family and enjoying life, then this book is for you!”
Yes, kids, apparently it’s that easy to grow a couple feet and make a few million bucks. Gronk’s got all the answers.
According to the Globe, It’s Good to Be the Gronk will hit shelves on July 14. That’ll hopefully leave you just enough time to read up on Gronk’s tips and win the Super Bowl in 2016, right?
