Update: Monday, 1:44 p.m.
Supporters of Eradicate Boston College Racism were behind the flyover, the group tells Boston. “The action today was planned and paid for by supporters of our organization and we are excited about it,” says a representative. The group says it is unsure how much the flyover cost and did not directly raise the funds. “A supporter or group of supporters must have ordered it and paid.”

“Eradicate Boston College Racism” is an organization of students, staff, faculty, and administrators on campus, though it is uncertain whether it had anything to do with the flyover. The last post on its Facebook page was made roughly three hours prior, promoting a T-shirt sale.
