Boston Marathon Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Will Be Formally Sentenced to Death Wednesday
Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be in Moakley Courthouse one last time Wednesday for his formal sentencing by Judge George O’Toole and to hear victim impact statements from more than 25 people.
The big question on everyone’s minds is whether or not Tsarnaev will speak, as it will be his last time to talk on the record in court before he is sent away to federal death row.
Tsarnaev was convicted on all counts in April and sentenced to death by the same jury on May 15. There will be an automatic appeal as is required in federal death penalty cases.
We’ll update you throughout the day.
