Before the MBTA can raise fares, the agency must host public meetings to hear from the public what they think about the proposed changes. The public comment period for the most recently proposed fare hikes has begun and runs through February 12.

If you can’t make it to one of the meetings listed below, you can email, call, or write the MBTA. More information on where to write or call is available here.

If you are more of the public meeting type, here are all the dates and locations to let the MBTA know how you feel. Some of the meetings will cover the proposed Commuter Rail schedule as well, for anyone commuting outside the city. All meeting times are 6-8 p.m. unless otherwise noted:
