Sanders, Clinton Make Stops in Massachusetts Before Super Tuesday
Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are expected to make stops in Massachusetts before Tuesday’s primary.
Sanders will hold a free, public rally at Milton High School in Milton. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., and the event, themed “A Future to Believe In,” will kick off at 7 p.m.
Clinton will make two stops in Massachusetts. She’ll start the day in Springfield at the Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History at 9:15 a.m. before heading to the Old South Meeting House in Downtown Crossing for a rally at 12:15. The event’s open to the public as well, and doors open at 10:45 a.m. Meanwhile, former President Bill Clinton will campaign in Worcester at 11:15 p.m.
According to the latest Suffolk University poll released Sunday, Clinton leads Sanders 50-42. Eight percent of voters were undecided.
