David Ortiz and Steph Curry Are Buds
Add Steph Curry to the ever-expanding list of greats taking part in the David Ortiz farewell tour.
The Golden State Warriors point guard took a break from his opening-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets to visit Ortiz in the visiting clubhouse at Minute Maid Park on Friday. The Sox bested the Houston Astros, 6-2.

The two men, who lay claim to a combined four world titles, are good friends, according to the Globe‘s Pete Abraham.

Despite being spotted with a San Francisco Giants cap, Curry confirmed to the Herald that he is, in fact, a Red Sox fan.

Curry and the Warriors lead the Rockets 3-1, while Ortiz has three homers just 17 games into the Sox’s 2016 campaign.
