MBTA Seeks #SkaterDude Who Chugged a Beer and Punched a Bus Driver
The MBTA Transit Police are asking for your help tracking down a skateboard-toting man who allegedly chugged a beer and punched a bus driver in the face.
The suspect, images of whom the TPD posted on its blog Friday, was wearing a backwards cap and multicolored tank top featuring the face of a lion. He was carrying a backpack and had both a skateboard and a bicycle with him.
On Monday, at 12:30 p.m., according to MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo, the #SkaterDude did not pay his fare on a 66 bus in Allston’s Union Square, downed a beer, and assaulted the T employee.

Pesaturo provided more info via email:
After the bus operator told him that his CharlieCard did not have sufficient funds to cover the fare, he still sat down in the bus. His behavior, described as loud and obnoxious, was making customers uncomfortable. When the bus operator radioed dispatch to report what was taking place, the suspect approached the operator and punched him in the jaw. He then fled the scene.
The bus driver declined medical attention.
