The weather may have kept you cooped up indoors all day, but Boston’s Instagrammers were out in full force.
It turns out several hours of prolonged snow plus 46-mile-per-hour wind gusts add up to stunning scenery—and several beloved snow-drenched pups. At 4 p.m., the National Weather Service predicted Boston would see another 6 to 8 inches of snow before the system tapers off around midnight on Tuesday. Though the forecast may not be what we had in mind for mid-March, at least Boston gives the winter weary a beautiful consolation prize. Take a look at some of our favorite blizzard photos from around the city, and be sure to tag @bostonmagazine on Instagram if there are other shots you think we should see.
