Tom Brady: ‘It’d Be Great’ If Donald Trump Won Presidency
Are we sure Tom Brady wasn’t even the slightest bit concussed while handing the Pittsburgh Steelers a Week 1 drubbing? It would neatly explain the Patriots quarterback’s most recent comments supporting his friend, 2016 Republican presidential hopeful and human paraquat Donald Trump.
Brady asked if Trump can win election. “I hope so. That would be great. There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn, Im sure of that”

Great? Tom, please be reasonable.
Brady’s endorsement comes after one of Trump’s iconic, red “Make America Great Again” hats was spotted in No. 12’s locker. When pressed on WEEI’s Dennis & Callahan, Brady confirmed it was his, adding: “It’s pretty amazing what he’s been able to accomplish as an entrepreneur, then as a television star, and now running for political office. People who can do those types of things and transition into different arenas and still have that type of appeal and carry-over.”
Never mind Trump’s appalling comments about any number of women and Mexican immigrants, or what one of his supporters allegedly did to a homeless, Hispanic man down in Dorchester (spoiler: urinated on him, bashing his face in with a metal pipe). It sure would be great if Trump was Commander-in-Chief. How does Brady know? A nice, little patch of shorn ryegrass on the South Lawn.
You know, I’m starting to think this multimillionaire UGGs poster boy, married to a Brazilian supermodel, isn’t one of us after all.
