Since its founding in 1949, AWHS has been dedicated to nurturing the whole person, providing a rich and balanced education to young men and women. This year, the school proudly celebrates its 75th anniversary, a testament to its enduring legacy and commitment to future generations. AWHS offers a rigorous six-year academic program with a well-balanced curriculum at the college preparatory, accelerated, honors, and advanced placement levels with AP courses offered Grades 9-12. Beyond academics, the school boasts a vibrant athletic tradition and offers an assortment of co-curricular opportunities, including Robotics, Theatre Ensemble and more.
