A local designer takes flight with high-fashion luggage.

It’ll be hard to miss fashionista Tonya Mezrich strutting through Logan with this bold suitcase in tow. Designed by Jonathan Adler for Tumi, the bag’s vibrant geometric pattern puts boring black-and-gray luggage to shame. “I have a lot of Adler home pieces in my own décor, so when Tumi came out with the partnership, it was a no-brainer that I would want one of these suitcases,” says Mezrich, who hosts the NECN fashion segment “Tagged by Tonya.” Mezrich completes her chic voyager look with a smart pencil skirt she designed for her own fashion line, Mike&Ton.
