Boston Reimagines the Teapot

As a tribute to one of the world’s most significant symbols of hospitality, and a nod to Boston’s Revolutionary heritage, the Cambridge’s Mobilia Gallery’s December exhibit celebrates the teapot.
In “The Teapot Redefined” the gallery invited both master and emerging artists to interpret and design teapots of their own vision. Inventive techniques and materials were encouraged, and the result is a diverse collection.
Some of the teapots included in the exhibit are purely sculptural, while others are functional, and the designs are as varied as the beverage itself, with many different ideas represented.
Attend a celebration of the exhibit on Saturday, December 13th from 3-5pm, and visit mobilia-gallery.com for more information.
