Fashion designer Luke Aaron has been wowing Bostonians since 2011, and more recently, he’s been inspired to curate a home collection.

Now he’s taken his South End fashion studio and North End home accessories boutique and fused them together on Beacon Hill’s north slope. The new location, which had a soft opening last week, displays a cozy mix of antiques, artisan goods, and apparel, and includes a lower-level studio for designing and alterations abound.

“My creative vision is a modern take on historic style,” explains Aaron, the label’s namesake. “The interior design and home aspect is about incorporating some actual antiques and historic pieces into the home, but also how to mix those things with newer items.”

Aaron says relocating to Beacon Hill helps extend his fashion visions to the home, linking the two together. And moving into a century-old building with a picturesque storefront is the icing on the cake.

“It was kind of the perfect environment to house what we were going for in terms of old meets new.” he says.

Luke Aaron, 20 Myrtle St., open Wednesdays through Saturdays 11-7 p.m., Sundays 12-6 p.m., and by appointment, lukeaaronboston.com.
