Homebuyers with a budget of less than $350,000 could probably swing a sizable single-family home in the suburbs. In and around the city, though, and that budget tells a different story.

While it’s still possible to score a perfectly pleasant place to live in the $350,000 range in Boston, houses at this price point generally aren’t single-family homes.
