These Are the Most Expensive Homes for Sale in Charlestown
The priciest of all is a three-bedroom condo.
It turns out the most expensive homes for sale in Charlestown aren’t the neighborhood’s antique single-families lining the streets of Bunker Hill. In fact, they’re not single-family homes at all—they’re condos.
In a new report, real estate analytics firm NeighborhoodX identified the 10 most expensive homes for sale in Charlestown. The first six out of the top 10 listings are condos, and four of them are all in the same development: Constellation Wharf.
The homes start at $1.45 million and go up to $1.95 million, ranging in size from about 1,800 to 3,100 square feet. The most expensive property on the list is a contemporary townhouse on Constellation Wharf. It’s priced just below Beacon Hill on a per-square-foot basis, at $770, and asks $1.95 million. The three-bedroom condo boasts views of the harbor and skyline from its deck, as well as an airy open floor plan. The least expensive home on the list is a charming Bunker Hill home dating back to 1845. It offers a wood-burning fireplace in the kitchen and asks $1.45 million.
“On a per square foot basis, the most expensive properties—which represent only a subset of the overall Charlestown market—range from $594 to $908 per square foot,” said Constantine Valhouli, NeighborhoodX’s director of research, in a statement.
