Terra’s Interior Design Combines Earth and Sky

Boston living is as much about excellent dining options as it is about fine homes. Here, we take a closer look at Terra, Eataly Bostons flagship restaurant.

Designed by Studios Architecture, Terra transports diners to an intimate Italian greenhouse, complete with lush hanging plants and room-brightening skylights. Along the walls, fresh herbs, assorted pottery, and gardening accoutrements sit on natural wood shelves, evoking the earthy vibes that inspired the restaurant’s name. Meanwhile, mismatched rustic tables and chairs by the Italian firm Costagroup ground the space and feed Terra’s authentic, homey feel.

Repurposed wine casks hold a selection of craft beers, giving local favorites from Trillium and Cambridge Brewing Company extra-complex notes. Terra’s beverage program also includes a selection of more than 200 Italian wines, which are available for purchase at the marketplace downstairs.
