At first glance, there’s nothing too unusual about this 1800s Victorian for sale in Oak Square. Sure, it’s larger and more luxurious than the typical Brighton pad—with original pocket doors, a wood-burning fireplace, and a lower-level sauna—but it doesn’t appear to be too out of the ordinary.
Everything seems relatively normal—that is, until you head to the kitchen. It opens up to the home’s main living area, where in center of the room is…a pool. “The current owners have been there 40 years and they were the ones who decided to put it in,” says James Brasco, the home’s listing agent with Century 21 Shawmut Properties.
