Is Gronk Selling His Boston Penthouse?
A spacious Fort Point condo that may or may not belong to the superstar has just hit the market for $2.4 million.
Patriots fans and those on the hunt for luxury digs alike, take notice: A spacious Seaport condo that may or may not belong to superstar Rob Gronkowski just went up for sale.
For a cool $2,375,000, the exposed-brick penthouse on Wormwood Street in Fort Point, complete with a private roof deck and a tricked-out kitchen, can be yours.
Gronk’s agent did not return a request for comment, and the listing agent for the property would not divulge the name of its current owner. But as the Boston Herald reported at the time, the same penthouse sold to a Gronkowski Endorsements LLC in $1.9 million back in 2016. Photos for the listing, which you can see for yourself here, show multiple Gronkowski jerseys and other sports memorabilia framed on several walls.
So we can’t be absolutely certain this is the larger-than-life tight end’s Boston home, but if it isn’t, its owner has a very specific interest in all things Gronk.
Should you decide to move in, you’ll have plenty of amenities fit for a champion. “The custom built kitchen with milled antique fir carpentry, industrial hood, Restaurant grade stainless Viking Stove with Dual Ovens, third Stainless Miele Oven, and Subzero Fridge must be seen,” according to the listing, along with two parking spaces, a home office, an open floor plan, and a window pointing south that keeps it awash with sunlight “from dawn until dusk.”
The apartment, it says, is also “a great place for grand scale entertaining.” You do, of course, run the risk of comparing your own mixers with the elite-level ragers that may or may not have taken place here, so that’s on you.
How many Bud Lights have been shotgunned in this luxurious penthouse, the world may never know.
