Break out these nested glass bowls for your next dinner party, and you’ll serve many more people than the ones seated around your table. Handblown by James McLeod, a glass professor at MassArt, and his former students, the vibrant pieces are sold through the Waltham-based company Serve Kindness, which donates 10 percent of every purchase to a charity of the customer’s choice from a list curated by owners/longtime pals Melissa Brooks and Jillian Darling. In other words, perfect for serving a purpose with your potato salad.

“Hyacinth, Sunrise, Gold” handblown glass nesting bowls, $249 for set, Serve Kindness.
