If you’ve ever been among the dejected throngs turned away from the popular weekend-only Harpoon Brewery tours, cheer up: The space has been expanded to include a Bavarian-style beer hall, which is now serving up freshly poured drafts seven days a week. Sit on sprawling wooden benches and enjoy the excellent baked spent-grain pretzels ($4)—with dipping sauces like IPA-spiked cheese sauce or roasted-pepper aioli—along with one of the best skyline views in the city. Oh, and then there’s the beer: Harpoon favorites are on tap regularly, with two rotating small-batch beers that are exclusive to the hall.
