Plan a Yuengling Launch Party Pub Crawl

At long last, the wait is over.

America’s oldest, and apparently, one of its most revered breweries will be making its way back to Massachusetts starting on February 24 when Yuengling rolls into area bars after a 20-year hiatus. To celebrate the return of the Pennsylvania favorite, brewed for almost two centuries in Pottsville, Penn., Yuengling will be hosting a number of rollout parties complete with giveaways, raffles, and complimentary tastings of its initial draft offerings: the Black & Tan, the Light Lager, and its signature beer, the Traditional Lager. Bottled selections will be released to package stores the following week on March 3, with festivities hosted by Wendy Yuengling at the Bell N Hand to commemorate.

As Steve Annear reported in October, Yuengling pulled out of Massachusetts in 1993 because their out-of-state facilities couldn’t keep up with consumer demand. Now better equipped to accommodate its rabid fanbase, already lauding Yuengling’s return on billboards and mobile advertisements, it hopes to compete with craft beer taps and local favorite, Narragansett.
