Sa Pa Modern Vietnamese opened its second location today in Cleveland Circle. Owner Ky Nguyen launched his fast casual concept in February 2013 at Sa Pa’s original downtown location. This is Nguyen’s third restaurant as he’s also the owner of Kingston Station.

The laid-back eatery has a menu of slow-cooked beef and veggie pho, vermicelli bowls, several variations of banh mi (braised beef, Saigon barbecue pulled pork, ginger lime chicken, lemongrass shrimp, or marinated tofu) and Nguyen’s modernized twist on traditional Vietnamese, the banh mi burrito. Sa Pa also offers sides like house-made kimchi and the Mama Hue’s egg rolls, which are a Nguyen family recipe. These come with dipping sauces like ginger miso, coconut red curry, and chili fish sauce, all of which are made in house.

The new Cleveland Circle spot will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Sa Pa has a wine and beer list with four beers on draft. The new location also offers catering.
